Duties and Responsibilities of Residential Special Services Sales Representative:
The ADT Residential Special Services Sales Representative (SSR) will primarily sell, and/or deliver specialized products (other than traditional burglar and fire alarm) and services from primarily sales generated referrals and some company provided lead activity. The Special Services Sales Representative is responsible for customer care throughout the entire ADT sales experience, from initial appointment through delivery or placement of product.
1. Maximize customer satisfaction, retention and referral sources by initiating post equipment placement follow-ups.
2. Sell products within assigned territory, maintaining assigned sales quota and following established guidelines
3. Identify prospects utilizing creative lead generating techniques
4. Present sales presentation and proposal to prospects, identifying positive features and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition
5. Adhere to current ADT policies, procedures, products, programs and services
6. Facilitate paperwork and collect fees from customer.
7. Process work order and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures
8. Post installation follow-up by contacting customer ensuring commitments were met and generating referrals
9. Maintain customer retention by affirming customer satisfaction after the completion of both 6 and 12 months of service
Requirements
Education:
• College degree or equivalent required
Experience:
• 2 years of experience in sales, sales management or eldercare
Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must possess strong communication, negotiating, and time management skills
• Flexible Style; perseverance; action oriented; interpersonal savvy
• Aptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach); customer focused
Other:
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record
• Ability to work a full time schedule
• Available for local travel, nights and weekends to accommodate the customers’ agenda
• Ambitious results oriented individual with entrepreneurial drive
